Stoff'n Wettbewerb, die 2. // Stoff'n Fabric Design Contest, No.2

Ich mache wieder beim Stoff'n Design Wettbewerb mit. Dieses Mal ist das Thema Autos. Hier ist mein Design:
I am participating again in the Stoff'n Fabric Design Contest. This time the theme is CARS.
Here is my design.

Unglaublich! & Mein 1. Yorik / Unbelievable! & My first Yorik

Ich habe den Stoff'n Valentinstagswettbewerb gewonnen! Tausend Dank für Eure ♥♥♥♥ und Euren Support! Ich freue mich riesig darüber und werde natürlich gleich meine ersten Stoffe bei Stoffn bestellen!
I won the first price at the Stoff'n Valentines Fabric Contest! Thank you soooo much for support and your ♥♥♥♥!! I am suuuuper happy about it and I am already looking forward to ordering my first fabrics with my own design at Stoffn.

Damit ihr seht, dass ich nicht nur noch Stoffe designe, sondern auch noch nähe, zeige ich Euch hier mein neuestes Werk. 

This is the proof that I am not only designing fabrics, but also still sewing kids clothes. Here is  my latest work.

 

Der Schnitt ist angelehnt an Yorik von farbenmix  - wobei ich diesen an mehreren Stellen verändert habe - insbesondere verlängert! Die Applikation ist von hier. Die Technik ist etwas anders als bei normalen Apllikationen, denn es werden verschiedene Lagen übereinander genäht, um den plastischen Effekt zu erzielen. Ich mag es super gerne, auch wenn es sehr aufwendig war.


The pattern is yorik from farbenmix- but i changed it a bit, especially i extended the length. The  car application (found here) is really cool, because it uses a slightly different technique. You put different layers on top of each other to get this effect. I really like it, eventhough it takes ages!
